What This Is

Deadlock is an independent game being developed for the Source platform under a free, non-commercial license. We are a team of volunteers. No money's involved - just good people and cool ideas. Owners of any Source game, such as L4D, TF2, and CS:S, will be able to download and play Deadlock for free upon its release.

Highlights
  • Fight another team for limited resources amid regular waves of zombies.
  • Resources are quasi randomly scattered throughout the maps.
  • Maps "repath" each round, reorganizing areas to create different gameplay experiences.
  • Mortality will be foregrounded by an fresh injury/death system.
  • Twelve unique characters.

Military Hiatus

Like all mods, there are high points and low points in development. Activity has dwindled, but the project endures. I joined the U.S. Army, so I'm heading to Ft. Benning for basic training and officer candidate school. If all goes well, I should return in August 2010. Catch you on the flip side!
